"Amazing Bag" 04/20/11
I bought this bag a little over two years ago to go on a few longer hikes that I had planned during the winter months. I am one of thouse people that is always cold, with this bag I have yet to have a cold night. One of my more recient trips was to climb Kilimanjaro this bag was wonderful light weight, and warm. I have not noticed any signs of usage. This bag is will worth the money!!! Over all this bag is irreplaceable...and worth every penny!!!
"Badlands, You ain't got nothin' on me!" 06/23/10
Its true. I went camping in the Badlands with the bison. It is super windy there, and just all around bad.It was freeeeeeeezing, and my camping mate (who shall remain nameless) didn't want me to bring the heavier bag for him, he was all, "I never get cold when I camp. If you bring that one, I'll be so hot and sweaty."So I brought mine and he had his and who do you think was not cold and who do you think was cold?I was perfect. I was toasty. I was well rested. I was only a little gloaty in the morning. If you need a reasonably priced sleeping bag for cold weather, I'd suggest this one. Its a good one.
"warm bag" 08/19/09
Wife suffers from cold extremities, we used this bag on a recent mountain climb over 3 days. We were camped at 7,000ft and the temperature droped below freezing. She was able to get a comfortable nights sleep in this bag. The bag is very light weight compared to its warmth. she is very pleased with this bag.
"Super Warm. Super Sleeing Bag" 03/23/09
I so plan on using this when I am homeless in Chicago during the winter. I mean, these are hard times, so I am glad I bought this before the whole downturn of the economy and all. Really though, it is warm. And it is nice. You should get one if you plan on camping in the cold.
"worth the investment!" 08/23/08
As a girl who uses a zero degree bag in 40 degree weather, I was suprised that I kept comfortably warm in the teens too! The double zipper is an added benefit when you need a little venting for your feet when the hot sun begins to heat up your tent. The hooks on the bottom for hanging the bag to air out and the extra large storage bag it comes with were very helpful! It's a huge investment, but I must say this bag is worth the money! Oh! And after using the bag for two weeks straight, I've only noticed a few feathers in the tent!
