The Marmot Women's Stride Jacket is a lined wind jacket for comfort during cool, breezy days. The 100% polyester ripstop fabric is lined with the soft, wicking DriClime® fabric and still comes in at a mere 8.8 ounces. It'll block the wind when you're walking your favorite trails or visiting a sleepy seaside town. Coated in a durable water repellent finish, the jacket also deters a light rain. The two zippered hand pockets and single zippered chest pocket hold close the small essentials, from gloves to house key and even your phone and wallet. DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Marmot DriClime

Marmot DriClime
Marmot DriClime is a mesh composed of two different denier yarns which work together to maximize breathability, prevent condensation and wick moisture. This means you can be as active as you want in the outdoors and remain dry and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Probably not the best for winter expeditions A salesperson at an outdoor store recommended this jacket for my upcoming mountaineering trip (so of course I came home and ordered it from moosejaw instead of buying it in the store). The jacket is very lightweight and compresses small. It fits over several layers (I wore it over two baselayers and a thin microfleece) and under heavy layers (I wore it under my heavy fleece, down jacket, and gortex). It was below freezing temps so I had to wear lots of layers. I will keep this jacket for day hikes (for the windproofness), but I don't think I would take it on another sub-freezing temperature mountaineering or backpacking trip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This could be the start of a beautiful relationship... Living in Michigan the weather can be, well, say the least. I wasn't quite sure what I was getting into with this jacket...but I took a leap and I'm happy I did. The outer is super smooth - almost soft and very reflective. The inside is thinly lined and soft, making it actually quite warm (for a glorified windbreaker). I choose this jacket as I've taken to running at night and it can get chilly. I also love kayaking and SUP and like the idea of it being water repellent. Apparently the soft lining will wick the moisture away from you and disperse it evenly across the outer material to evaporate - keeping you warm and dry. It's also super flattering and cute.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wear it year round in the rockies Love this jacket! I wear it layer skiing in the winter, but also biking and hiking spring, fall, and on cooler summer days here in Colorado. The inside layer of DriClime is like a very thin fleece lining and is surprisingly warm yet is wicking if you begin to overheat. The Stride is also wind resistant. Definitely one of my Marmot pieces I wear the most. I wear a small in most jackets and one say size is true to fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect light jacket Have worn this almost every day since I got it. Perfect for biking and hiking. If it's warm wear a t shirt if cooler wear a hoody. Can see I'm going to be able to use it all year. Rode yesterday in a light rain and the rain just beaded up on the outside. I usually wear a medium but got a large as this jacket doesn't have any stretchy panels and I want to be able to keep adding layers in cooler weather.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket I have experience borrowing the men's version, and wanted one for myself. I'm tall (5'8") athletically built, so I was unsure which size to order. The medium fits great, and I can easily wear it over yoga tops or a thin shirt; but I purchased this with the intention of wearing it over heavier layers. I'll be exchanging for a large

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best wind shell ever! This is my third Marmot windshirt in about 10+ years, and this Stride model is the best version yet. Better fit, zipped pockets, lightweight. Soft on the inside with the DriClime, so I can wear it with short sleeves underneath and it feels great. Marmot, please don't stop making this windshirt!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product We own several Marmot garments and this jacket exhibits the same quality materials, manufacturing quality, and technical expertise we have come to expect out of Marmot. Fairly priced.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great jacket, but... This jacket runs small and the lining inside of one of the sleeves isn't right.  Will have to return this for a larger size.   I have never had to wear a large in Marmot coats.
