I was debating between this jacket and the North face one- and I am very happy with my decision to get this one. It is very cute and much warmer in my opinion than the north face one. The sleeves are perfect for me, 5'5" 120 lbs and it is very flattering. I would def recommend it!
This jacket is surprisingly light weight AND toasty warm! I am 120, 5'3, and busty so I went with the Medium and I am so glad I did! The small would have been too tight across the chest. Even if I wasn't well endowed I would still purchase the medium because this jacket seems like it runs on the smaller side. I bought the jacket in black so I can wear it with whatever but I'm sure any color would be gorge;)The cut of the jacket is figure flattering, I like the faux fur. I look hot in this jacket! Woot woot thanks Moosejaw yeah buddy!
To make sure the cost was worth it, I also ordered the North Face Metropolis Parka and the LL Bean Ultrawarm 3/4 Length Coat to compare. The LL Bean and Marmot coats have stretchy felt wrist liners which keep the cold out. NF doesn't. LL and Marmot are 650-fill goose down, NF is only 600. Marmot and LL have sturdier fabric. Marmot is fleece-lined around the neck, chin guard, and chest, not so for LL and NF. NF is somewhat "fitted," but not really (extra room around the chest and arms). LL is a tent. Square patch pattern is not flattering on the NF or LL. Horizontal stitching on the Marmot is more flattering. DEFINITELY BETTER BUY THAN THE NORTH FACE.
