The Marmot Women's Jena Hoody is an ultralight down hooded jacket for cold weather. The Jena uses a down-proof fabric, a polyester mini ripstop, which is light in weight and helps block the wind. The fabric is also coated with a durable water repellent finish to deter light rain and snow from soaking into the surface. The baffles are stuffed with 700 fill power down with Down Defender, which will keep you warm even when wet, as it allows the down to resist moisture. Technology is getting so intense lately. Elastic at the hood keeps the hood where you want it, warming your carefully styled hair and your ears. Elastic at the cuffs and a drawcord hem help seal in the heat and block out the drafts. A regular fit allows for layers while the overall weight of 15.2 ounces makes it seem like you're wearing nothing.

Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit and warmth! I have trouble finding quality outdoors wear that fits me- i'm 5'1" and 110lbs. After trying a handful of other comparable jackets- lightweight, down, hooded- and being disappointed every time, i tried this Marmot jacket and it is absolutely perfect! the fit is ideal- enough room to layer underneath and still have a comfortable full range of motion, keeps me nice and warm, and is even very flattering aesthetically! i love that the hood and collar lay flat and even look good when the jacket is unzipped. very happy with the length in the arms and body of the jacket! i love the other marmot products i have, and am excited to have found their clothing to be just as impressive!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No need for me to keep looking for a great jacket! I was looking for a warm down jacket that would fit my tiny frame and I found one in the Jena hoody. I am 5'2" 100 lbs and it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to find something to fit me. I bought the xs. This jacket fits great and looks stylist. I live in the mountains of Colorado and needed a jacket to keep me warm and this jacket does the trick. It is not yet 20 degrees, but I am sure the Jena jacket will keep me warm with a fleece underneath. I am a cold coward, by the way. The nylon is light but not flimsy like other light down jackets. Thank you Marmot for thinking of me when you designed my new Jena jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm in LOVE I don't know how nobody has reviewed this jacket yet....I literally just got it in the mail and basically refuse to take it off. This is my first down jacket, I did a hefty amount of research before finally deciding that this was THE ONE. ,,,,It's warm, nicely tailored, has great wrist cuffs to keep out cold drafts, and has an awesome hood to block out the wind, oh AND can I just say how much I LOVE the fleece lined pockets?! The bottom of the jacket cinches for an even more tailored fit and it is roomy enough underneath for a few extra layers for really chilly days. All in all, a fantastic jacket. I can't wait to test it out hiking, biking, climbing, camping, skiing and whatever other adventures come my way. ,,,,You will not be disappointed by this great jacket. Thank you Moosejaw and Marmot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super comfy I'm from the Central Valley so I've never had a need for a really warm jacket until I started visiting Tahoe in the winter. This jacket has kept my core warm (with a light layer underneath) in 20 degree temps. When the temps drop down to the teens, I need to add another layer underneath, but that's to be expected. It's very comfortable, easy to move in, and long enough to not expose my midriff when I raise my arms, which is really nice. I just wish there was a pants version!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good-looking but not very warm This jacket looks really great and has some features that make it stand out against its competitors: soft pockets that are big enough to actually hold things, a chest pocket, overall great fit. HOWEVER. It's just not that warm. It was barely enough for me walking to work in mid-40s weather with a sweater on. And when I wore it in NY during low-mid 30s weather (also with layers and a sweater), I was quite cold. I'm going to have to explore other options for a winter jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sooooooooooo warm!! This jacket is amazing!!  SOO incredibly warm...I love it!  Granted, I live in Virginia, where climates are a little milder, but going out into the cold is no challenge with this coat.  I literally sweat in the car.  The sizing is a little funky.  By measurements, I should have been a size large (I'm about 5'9, 180lbs), but I am a little generous in the butt area, so I had to send the large back and get an XL, which worked out better because it gave me longer sleeves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as expected I bought this jacket for my daughter for Christmas. She is 5'8" with a long, lean frame at 110lbs. The small fits her perfectly. The jacket is light-weight but warm. It does not feel flimsy. Love the length of the arms with the cinch cuffs. Also, the cinch drawstring at the waist allows for a form fitted look. This was just as expected as my daughter fell in love with this same jacket that I bought for myself last year. A consistent, quality purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Breathable, durable, thoughtful features I was instantly in love with this jacket when I found the fleece-lined pockets. What a genius feature in a puffy! The fit is great. I ordered a large (I'm 5ft 7in, 150lbs and usually wear a medium) because I wanted to be able to layer with this jacket and it's perfect. The hood is awesome and does in fact fit over a helmet, but it also stays up without one. Even with the hood down the neck/collar area keeps everything so warm without getting in the way of your mouth. I have worn this jacket rock climbing a few times and it hasn't punctured even after some pretty intense scraping on sharp rock. The one thing I have not tested with this jacket is any temperatures lower than 40 degrees although I'm sure it will preform well judging by how well it resists wind while still being breathable. Overall, it's a gem. If you're on the fence about purchasing it, just go for it.

Does the hood of this jacket have a draw string for adjusting ?

Asked by: Lilian
Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us! The Marmot Jena Hoody has elastic at the hood to help keep the hood where you want it. There is no draw string.
