Marmot MemBrain

Marmot MemBrain
Marmot MemBrain fabrics utilize a polyurethane laminate that perfectly balances performance for anything nature can throw at you. Waterproof, breathable and durable. That's what we call the trifecta. If I were more clever I'd call it the dry-fecta, but I'm not. Anyways, the external protection coupled with minimal internal condensation adds up to pure comfort.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable, not-too-thick, but not as warm as I'd like I like these gloves a lot. In the winter I wear them every day and they go well enough with both my Columbia jacket and my nice winter coat--they don't look too much like ski gloves, which I don't want since I'm just using them for every day use. That said, I was hoping they'd be warmer. I'm not expecting gloves like these to keep my hands toasty on long hikes or snowball fights, but getting to and from work shouldn't leave my fingers cold. As long as it's not too cold, they're great, but I'm still looking for decent-looking, really warm, everyday gloves.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not warm enough These gloves look good, are very resistant to abrasion, very helpful as for the waterproofing, but one can't count on them for warmth, as others have said. I have used them in summer Patagonia weather (no sknow) and had to wear another pair of gloves beneath them. Using two pairs of gloves was annoying sometimes, but it was not the worst thing on Earth. I will keep my gloves and keep using them like this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great gloves I do concur with the others, they are great gloves and warm, but not necessarily the warmest depending on the circumstances. I love the fact they block the wind and look stylish while keeping one's hands a credible degree of warmth. I tend to have cold hands anyway, even down isn't always enough, so I take that into account. Stylish, wind blocking, and will keep you dry in all but the worst of storms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good waterproofing but no falcon talons The good thing is that these gloves are gloves.,,,,They aren't the warmest, but the waterproof and windproof aspects are great.,,The fingers are a little long, and I don't think my fingers are abnormally short.,,,,I'm not sure what "falcon grip" is... but I can tell you these gloves do not have talons. (Also, it does not seem there is any added grip.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around glove I was surprised how thin these gloves are. I wore them in 30 degree weather and my hands were nice and worm, the wind did not get through either. I had a decent grip on the steering wheel. I think these gloves can be used from outdoor activities to daily commutes. Nice all-around glove. I would definitely recommend this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from fit nice; not warm These gloves fit and look great, but are not warm. Fine for a few minutes outdoors, but not for building snowmen, sledding or other recreational winter activities.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great waterproof glove, but not for cold winters this pair of glove is not suitable for winter. I use it now in april, where it is transitioning into spring and i still feel cold. but it's a great waterproof glove for biking in the rain. Medium size is a little too big for me, but i could use it as an outer layer glove for winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good lightweight waterproof gloves. These are great for what I needed, which are lightweight waterproof gloves. Good for wet weather camping or walking to work In the rain. I have small hands but long fingers... I got XS and usually when I buy small gloves the fingers are too short, but these fit perfect.
