Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor Fit I purchased this as my new ski jacket.  I have been looking for a true red jacket and this delivered on that.  It is a beautiful color but the fit was off.  I am 5'9", 150 lbs and usually wear an 8.  I ordered both the M and L since the reviews had me weary of fit.  The M fit perfect in the arms and shoulders, but the zipper didn't even touch at the bottom!  So I tried on the L which was huge in the arms and shoulders and I could zip it but it was WAY too tight in the waist.  If it fits your body type, you will love it!  I'm sad, but had to return.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Jacket I bought this as my "winter coat" for snow sports or just super cold days. It is definitely warm and waterproof. I ordered a Medium (5 foot 4, 145# size 6-8) and found it a little tight around my hip/butt region but the fit was great everywhere else. The zippers are a little troublesome, they get stuck often. Could use a little piece of soft fabric over the zipper at the top of the coat, it feels cold and scratchy against your chin if its zipped up all the way. Good coat over-all, awesome colors!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice coat, nice price! I have skied lift service a handful of times in the jacket and have found it to be great so far. The Freeskier is much lighter than many other insulated coats out there, which I appreciate, but still plenty warm for me. The insulation is just right for me to wear a few thin layers underneath on most days. On really cold days (around zero) I just add a really light down vest on top of those layers and I am good to go. I tested out the hood last weekend on a stormy day and it fit fine over my helmet and provide the extra protection I needed. This jacket doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it has most of the ones I need and use - insulation, pit zips, powder skirt, hood, and plenty of pockets! My only gripe is that there is no Driclime/fleecy chin guard on the Freeskier. I would recommend this coat.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed with fit I bought this product because it had everything I was looking for in a Northeast ski jacket.  I was so disappointed with the fit that I had to return.  I am 5'8 130 pounds and wear a size 4. The body length and arms were great (longer arm length to accommodate long appendages) and pole reach but fit across chest/back fit more like an XS, I am neither broad shouldered or big chested.  Order a size larger (which I tried to do but it was completely sold out everywhere)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great look, but absolutely no real skiingjacket First thing to say - and reason why I absolutely want to keep it: looks great, great color and best: fits very well (I´m being slim and tall - and sport jackets often fit too loose.,,BUT: It lacks some important features a skiing jacket ought to have - but pros for the skiingjacketlabel first:,,- it has a hood that very well fits helmet and keeps in place and fits without helmet too.,,- has the zip-off powder skirt,,- for my needs its good that its a bit warmer than the former jackets I had,,but cons:,,- it doesn´t have this little pocket at the arm, you need to put your lift card in! Thats very big disadvantage (or is "FreeSkier" name related to the fact that you use it where skiing and lifting is "for free"?),,- the arms at the wrists (and my wrists are surely uncommonly slim) are too tight to fit gloves "in" and they dont have something inside to put your hands through and thumb out to keep the arms in place. So they slip up and cold and snow get in.,,- collar not cosy,,

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute but short I needed a new ski jacket and loved the bright stand out color of the yellow with blue piping. So many great pockets and features for skiing! Unfortunately it was just too boxy and short so had to return. It also was a little snug in the hips. For reference, I am 5'2", 115 lbs and bought the size small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket! Tons of compliments! Brilliant blue!! Love this jacket. First insulated jacket of my ski career, and I'm super happy with it. I especially like all the pockets. And that the snow skirt zips out for non powder days! I'd get it again in another color!
