"Amazing Pack for All Day, Webbing Needs Improvement" 08/16/11

I am able to carry a lunch, two small sweaters and two rain jackets as well as water bottles on the outside. The shape of the inside of the pack (deep and skinny) always keep the load balanced. If you want to bring along some towels or snorkel/fins you can strap it down easily with the compression straps. The pack isn't awkward and floppy when there is not much inside. I can put in a sweater and a book and pull the compression straps tight to make it stable.The layout of the bottle holders and outside pocket leaves nothing to be desired. The problem lies in the webbing itself. I slipped in a bottle and the webbing tore. but it makes me think that I may have to be more gentle in the future.
