"Heavy but decent bag for the price"  01/05/12

I've had this bag for almost two years and I have to say I'm not that impressed. Here's my breakdown:Temps - 15 degrees is very optimistic on Marmot's part. I've used it in 20-25 deg camping in MN (with a 3.5" mat) and had to wear a down jacket and hat to not freeze.Durability - I have a small but growing tear in the seam near the zipper at elbow level. It could be fixed easily and it otherwise feels solid.Weight - The XL weighs well over 4lbs, not light at all but fine for car camping.Zipper - Mediocre at best, snags plenty.Price - Cheap, the best feature of this bag.If you're looking for lightweight, keep looking. If you're on a budget, it's cheap and comfortable.

"nice and cosy."  01/04/12

Used this while camping the other night and It got down to 25. I never woke up or got any chills. It kept me super warm all night. I slept only on a therm a rest under the stars. It was probably one of the best nights sleep Ive gotten in awhile. great buy for the price.

"Worth it."  10/28/11

I bought this mostly becausea.) it was really cheapb.) it was marmotc.) it was rated to 15And i haven't regretted my decision yet. I've slept in this thing multiple nights before a big summit day. And it couldn't be better. It probably wouldn't be the most helpful in the dead of winter, but I have yet to test that theory out. For the price, it was absolutely worth it.

"DEAL!"  08/14/11

Great for the price. It's warm, soft, and faily compact. The only problem is that it is not quite 15 degrees.

"Needle in the hay stack... Or should I say down sacks?"  08/08/11

Above and beyond would be the first thought that comes to my mind when you mention the Marmot trestles 15. Upon my first Night of a three night trip I found my self 3 o'clock am wondering "self, why is it so d**n hot?" It wasnt until the next night I realized it was this bag as I utilized the quarter zip feature. With three 20 degree nights comfortably put behind me I recommend this bag as a great alternative to any over priced down bag. So great infact, I am currently purchasing another for my dads b-day.

"Obvious choice for the price"  06/05/11

I decided to buy a synthetic vs a down sleeping bag for various reasons....for one, I'll accept carrying 1 lb more to save $200- $300. Call me crazy if you want. So, after that decision, the marmot kept calling to me ....it seemed too cheap when compared to the other bags by north face, rei, etc. Especially since it compared so well as far as weight. I really liked it that the EN rating was TRUE or better than the advertised 15 degrees.

"A Decent Value"  04/11/11

This bag is a decent value for it's low price point and it is functional.I slept through some sub-freezing nights including a night that got down to 14F pretty comfortably (all of my clothes on, a coolmax liner, on top of a ProLite Plus).I ended up returning it, though. Two problems: 1.) Weight. This bag is pretty darn heavy. 2.) The hanging loops at the foot are awful. Hanging the bag in my closet, I had the loops rip out on two different bags! This opens up the footbox stitching to the point where insulation can come out. After returning my second Trestles, I got a Mountain Hardwear Ultralamina and have been more pleased with that.

"Warm bag for the price"  02/24/11

This is a warm, high quality bag for about $100. I'd say its hard to go wrong. I find it to be quite comfortable and it will compress down fairly small, not like a down bag but what do you expect for the price? Another big advantage is the fact that you can zip the mens and womens bags together ;-) Just make sure you get one bag as a right and the other as a left. It's not a perfect matchup because the position of the zipper puts the bottom of the bag at the same spot so your heads end up staggered about like when you are standing but they zip together fairly easily and I like having that capability.

"I love this bag!"  12/04/10

I was too warm when it was high 30's wearing nothing but underwear and a t-shirt. The double zipper to vent the bottom takes care of this just fine though. The zippers glow in the dark which is very handy for those 2am peeing operations. 2 minor complaints though: The mechanism that holds the strap cinched around the hood is a little weak. Not a big deal but if you really want to tuck yourself in, any movement makes the cinch come undone. It was VERY outside wet one night and it took quite a while to notice it, but some water came through at the base by my heels. This was fine, however, it took a surprisingly long time to dry considering it is a synthetic bag.

"Very warm"  11/12/10

This bag is good down to 20 degrees, or lower if you wear a little insulation. It doesn't pack near as small as down bags, but it's a really good value, and still packs small enough to cram in a backpack. I can throw this in a 48L bag and still have enough room for several days worth of stuff. The stitching seems to be high-quality.

"Super nice bag"  05/17/10

lets see...its a good bag, right amount of room(dont feel trapped nor am i getting twisted in excess). It holds body heat well, but if you get too toasty it has a double zipper so you can fold the front down a hair. Inside stash pocket good for a little flashlight, keys, or whatever else you need close and handy. Comes with stuff bag and it compresses nicely. Overall great bag for the price.

"Great bag, especially for the price."  04/05/10

As warm and cozy as advertised and compresses nicely. Stash pocket comes in handy on occasion. Hard to beat a legitimate 15 degree bag for around $100.
