"A Backpack that Rocks!" 03/17/12
I moved recently and had to dispose of an older Camelbak snowpak. I loved that thing b/c even when I wasn't using it in the winter, I could put some weights in it for my workouts and it was still comfortable. I was bummed. Then to my delight, I got this backpack as a MYSTERY gift and try it out. OMG! Soooooooo comfortable to run/hike with and it is functional. We will see how durable it is, but I have faith that I will have this for as long as I had my Camelbak (which was ~7years). Moosejaw........I LOVE U! Ya'll keep doin' your thang!
"Great Little Ski Bag" 03/14/12
At 12 liters, this bag is a bit small. With a hydration bladder placed inside, I find it hard to stuff an extra layer, snacks, and whatever else this bag claims, but it rides so close to your back and so low profile that I can forgive its tininess. I'm not a big skier, so I can't attest to the ski carrying features but the pack has a nice suspension and solid carry. The integrated hydration storage sleeve is nice, as is the easy access pouch at the top. Overall, a great quality pack.
"good looking hydration bag" 02/22/12
I got this for free in a recent Moosejaw giveaway (love you guys!), and was wondering what a girl who lives in the tropics could possibly do with a backpack designed for the snow. Fortunately, I whacked an Osprey 2L hydration bladder in it, which fits like a dream inside, and now I use it for walking. My only issue is with the number of straps: probably ridiculously useful for skiiers, a little excessive for just a 1 hour jaunty walk around the burbs. Received the bag in blue, and boy is it attractive and good looking.
