The Marmot Sawtooth Sleeping Bag is a 15 degree sleeping bag for camping and backpacking. The Sawtooth is ready for anything, packed with 650 fill power down that is treated with Down Defender for water resistance when the rainy days just won't come to an end. The nylon and nylon ripstop fabric is durable and light for taking on the rigors of the outdoors and moving from camp to camp. The full length zipper is equipped with two way zipper sliders so you can manually regulate the inside temperature during the night. When the bag is fully zipped, the heat bump draft tube and down-filled collar deter cool drafts from finding their way inside the bag. The stretch tricot baffles keep the down in their place. The included stuff sack compresses the bag for trail travel and the storage sack gives your bag a place to live when you're back at home until the next adventure.

Marmot Down Defender
Marmot Down Defender helps prevent down from clumping when exposed to water or moisture. This allows it to keep its loft, which equates to greater insulation. It's insurance against crummy weather. But you don't have to fill out pesky insurance forms. Nothing will stop the specially treated, highly water-resistant down from trapping warm air next to your body.

Exactly what it looks like; great valueThis is a great product and a great value. The 15F rating is accurate and all of the specs hold up. I don't think you can find another bag with these specs that comes even close on the price. It's a water resistant down (I've never used it in wet conditions) and a 650 fill. It came with a storage bag and a stuff sack. Most other bags that have these features are much more than $240... I'm six feet tall and about 200 pounds and I fit great in the regular size bag. Plenty of room around the chest and feet. Able to lay on side if I want. The option to open the bottom zipper and vent the feet is great for summer camping. All around I think this was a great choice and a great value bag.

Dreamy, steamy sleeping bagDear god to I love this sleeping bag. It's warm, comfortable, and pretty. Definitely a warm bag: I've slept in it below 15 and been fine with just a sleeping bag liner in there with me. When it's hot out, it doubles as a fancier, fluffier sleeping pad. It doesn't have too many bells and whistles but it compacts well, is relatively lightweight, and didn't set be back too much in terms of price. I've already convinced friends to grab this one and you should, too.

Heavenly Cloud (above Death Valley)This thing is toasty. I was recommended this bag because I'm interested in winter camping. I forgot to mention that I'm also interested in normal camping. I woke up in death-sweat the first night, and quickly learned my lesson. If it's above freezing, zipper open, ALL THE WAY. If it's anywhere near 60, I'd recommend sleeping on top of it with a liner. Fantastic bag though; packs well, cozy, and quiet. Highly recommended for anyone anxious about a cold night's sleep.

well madeI purchased this bag to use early spring and in the fall seasons. So far the coldest temps I've used it in have been to the low 30's and I was plenty warm. I expect it will be just fine at the rated temp.

Do the sleeping bags have to be the same size to comfortably zip together? Â (ie long with a regular.)
Asked by: Mighty_Mama
It is possible to zip together two bags with different zipper lengths, however doing so may result in cold spots where the zippers don't match together.
