"Marmot's Never Summer 0 Degree is by far the warmest sleeping bag I have ever owned! I've taken this backpacking in the Smokies during the winter many times and it has never let me down. During the really cold nights I usually sleep with a lightweight baselayer and I'm always warm enough and more than comfortable. The quality of the down is so high that there aren't any cold spots in the bag, making it super warm from top to bottom. Even though the Never Summer is a very lofty bag, it packs down to a fraction of the size. I am just over six feet tall and have the tall version with a couple extra inches to spare."
