"/Awesome fit , lightweight, and durable"  12/29/11

I have owned 3 down jackets, but by far the Zeus is the best yet. Very compact, lightweight, and warm!

"You won't be disappointed"  10/28/11

Warm, flexible (great range of motion) layers well. This jacket will keep you warm on the coldest days with a couple of good base layers and can be worn over a T shirt to take out the dog. Easily packable, super light weight, stylish. Nuff said.

"Great lite weight warmth"  09/08/11

Bought this jacket for backpacking in late Fall. It has turned into my go to jacket in any cold weather situation, especially when paired with my Precip jacket. After my wife borrowed it a few times we had to go get her one. Did I mention it makes a decent pillow?

"Great Coat!"  04/18/11

I bought this coat for my fiance and he loves it (he chose the Cayenne color). It feels deceptively lightweight but does a great job of blocking out the wind and the cold. It's not too short in the back, but it also doesn't turn him into a walking Bumble. Nice!

"Great all-around jacket for just about anything you can think of."  01/14/11

I've had this jacket for a few months, and while I haven't taken it on any hardcore expeditions, it's held up exceptionally well to daily use around campus plus a few weekend trips. It doesn't cross the "Michelin Man" line that some down jackets often cross. I've worn this layered over a fleece and by itself over a plain T-shirt and it's kept me warn well into single-digit temperatures. The pockets are roomy and you can really fill them up without making the jacket look too bulky. I used it to smuggle a bunch of candy into a movie and I didn't even get caught.

"The warmest jacket in the world"  12/13/10

This is absolutely the warmest thing that I have ever worn. I strongly recommend it to all who hope to keep the heat this winter.

"Jacket of the year"  11/29/10

Love the jacket. I compared online and in stores all the top brands for a down jacket. The marmot jacket was the winner. Extremely comfortable, warm, lightweight, and soft to touch. It even stuffs in the left pocket for light travel. Would definitely recommend to others!

"Excellent Down jacket!"  11/11/10

I have a number of down jackets but the Zeus is a favorite. It is the perfect jacket for many situations. It can function as an inner layer under a shell or be an outer jacket (as long as you stay away from pointed sticks and sharp fruit). It is warm, fits well, has good zips, has a warm neck covering, and the fabric is actually soft and pleasant to the touch. You cannot beat the cost! A great value from a reliable manufacturer. A big recommendation from me!

"Great warmth, low price, winner"  11/05/10

Great jacket. I was looking for something I could belay in as well as just throw on to take out the dog in the AM and so far its been great. Wore it with no layers underneath this morning on our walk and was very comfortable. I found out later it was in the 30's...didn't even notice. Extremely lightweight and I am nervous about pretty much anything rough getting near it since the material is not very burly, but I didn't buy it for climbing in, etc. I have Medium, i'm 6'1 and 170, fits very well. I felt the large was too bulky looking, i prefer tighter fitting apparel. I don't see the "belly fold" mentioned elsewhere. would like to see a mechanism to tighten the neck in future models.

"Great jacket for layering!"  10/27/10

I use this jacket as an insulating layer while backpacking, hiking, and camping. It works great as a layer, but I find myself a little cold if I'm only wearing a t-shirt or something thin underneath. Throw on a warm base layer or some fleece and this jacket turns into an oven. The DWR works great for those times when you can't avoid getting wet, but is not meant for rain at all. Loft is fantastic and if it gets compressed, just fluff it up in the dryer with no heat (if you're at home) or toss it around a little in the field and the loft will come right back. Great jacket at a good price, as usual!
