"You get what you pay for." 09/20/10

I haven't really put this jacket through its paces yet, but it's been through a few pretty nasty downpours and one back country outing: So far, so good. The collar is very high and zips up to about your nose, so your face is pretty well protected. The cinching works well. The pit zips work well. The snowskirt is a very manly skirt, a snowkilt if you will. There is ample storage in the chest pockets, the inner pocket and arm pocket are nice additions too. As far as sizing goes, I am 6' and 190 lbs: I got an XL for ample layering when it gets nasty and there's plenty of room. I probably could have gotten away with a large.
