"Re-review" 12/08/10

After using this jacket in just about every condition you could think of, I have to say that this is a kick-ass shell. I still wish it was longer and pit zips would be nice, but given what I've put this jacket through I think it deserves a 5/5. This jacket has survived blizzardss, torrential downpours, and a snowball fight with a 4 year old. It works well for the city, but you can get away with using it as a shell while hiking too. I haven't had any leaks or damage to the jacket.

"Wish it was a little bit longer" 09/20/10

This jacket is pretty good: It packs well, is totally waterproof, looks nice and seems pretty durable so far.I do have a couple of gripes about the jacket though, first of all I wish it was a little bit longer so it would full protect cargo pockets from the rain. Second, the velcro on one of the sleeves is always grabbing the velcro on the storm flap if it's open (this can get a little annoying). Also, the MemBrain membrane is a bit rubbery. Pit zips also would have been nice, but the venting integrated into the pockets work well enough.
