The Marmot Men's Ridgetop Component Jacket is a 3-in-1 jacket for winter fun. Day in and day out, from warmth to waterproof protection. You get it all in this jacket, 'cause it's really 2 separate jackets combining to give the power of 3. Wear the outer jacket for waterproof protection, rain or snow, so long as it isn't too cold. The inner jacket can be worn alone in dry, cool weather for fleecy warmth. When zipped together, the two provide a warmth and waterproof one-two punch to battle the snow and cold all at once.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this just to go out I bought this just to go out to shops/pub etc...I was fed up with other well known brands being worn by everybody and their dog. The jacket is very good, very warm and breathable. It looks great and I tend to wear without hood. I live in Uk and the Marmot brand is only known to people who own great stuff, I like that. All in all a great buy looks fantastic and feels expensive. I am 5ft 9ins and 11 stone, medium fits superb. (I am in my 50s so don't think these are only for the younger style)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A nice, but expensive jacket for cool, rainy weather.. This is a nice jacket, but for the price I would expect a double zipper. The color of the jacket on the website is misleading. It's more of a lawn green.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good jacket Spent the weekend in crazy weather. Windy and cool one day. Freezing rain and snow the next. Jacket performed well. Stayed warm and dry without overheating by removing and replacing zip out liner as conditions dictated. My wife even thought the jacket looked good. I usually wear milsurp. The only criticism is the lack of a zipper that allows you to unzip from the bottom up to facilitate getting in and out of a vehicle. Great jacket that i plan to use for years.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A comfortable jacket This is a great jacket and storm proof. The collar has some issues with the fleece not working as well as I had hoped for , but the overall quality is still very fine. The fleece collar is too short to fold over properly. The sleeves of the fleece come unsnapped sometimes and that is a disappointment . Luckily, I live in an area where I won't need the fleece very often, so this jacket should see plenty of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile! Purchased as a gift for my 6'3" son. Was concerned about jacket being too short as he often needs a tall size, but the fit and length are perfect. He is very happy using this for hiking and everyday wear in our current weather (20 degrees). He is also happy about the different configurations and wearing the fleece separately when the weather warms up

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile and great quality My second Marmot winter coat. This Ridgetop matches the quality of my first Marmot. I love that the inner lining of this Ridgetop looks great by itself as a light jacket - the inner layer has the look of a high quality light fleece jacket or sweater and I found it suitable to wear to the office with khakis as well as for regular weekend/casual wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very nice component jacket I haven't really "field tested" my new jacket yet, but so far it's great. It fits very well. It's very comfortable and it's well made. There's a roomy interior pocket, which I like and the jacket "moves well" if I may characterize that way. A great bargain at 141 dollars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Jacket Has Everything I've just been pleased all around with this jacket. The inner layer is soft and makes a handsome jacket of its own; the outer layer durably wicks water and is ready for downpour with its hood. And most importantly--it keeps me warm!
