"Pretty good but overpriced" 12/26/10
This baselayer functions fairly well as a wicking layer, but isnt outstanding at it. For the list price, there are better to be had. The material is decent, though a little itchy at first, and tends to pill a little too easy. Is well worth buying if it can be found at about half price.
"Best as a light midlayer" 11/09/09
This is a very good shirt but it isn't quite what I expected. The fit is a little bit loose so it doesn't keep close to your skin. Because of that, it doesn't wick as well as something more form-fitting. Even then, I think the rival Patagonia Cal3s do a better job and are more comfortable against the skin. However, this shirt makes a good midlayer when it's not too cold. It is breathable and stretches very well, and it never smells (you might smell underneath, but take it off and it will retain none of that)
