I just received my Marmot vest and it's just what the Dr. ordered. I bought a large so it would fit over a sweatshirt yet would fit under my winter parka. What I'm trying to verbosally say is, "It's awesome for layering, like all the survival experts and grandmas say you're supposed to do."The 650 downfill is enough to keep me warm but not too much so as to be bulky under my parka. I am especially thrilled w/ the high neckline as that will keep out the wind thrown at me by mother nature and the snowballs thrown at me by mother... (Is this a family friendly website?)
