From Colorado to Alaska and Nepal, I have never been cold in this jacket! It is super light, making it an ideal insulating layer to stuff in the pack on a long climb or backcountry expedition.And check out those colors!! I'm pretty jealous, the blue and orange wasn't available when I got this jacket 4 years ago.
I don't think there's a single puffy out there to match the Greenland's wamth to weight. I considered the Peak XV too, but wanted to stay under 2 lbs. so this was it. 800 fill power, 10.5 oz of it, lightweight poly shell, stuffed draft tube, huge hood, double baffed, nuff said.

Integral hood gets rid of drafts that you get with detachable hood jackets. The integral water bottle pocket is really convenient for stowing a Nalgene bottle if you don't want it to freeze, or you don't want someone to spike your urine specimen, or if you are holstering a small pistol. (no grizzly guns, sorry)The pockets are quite warm so you don't need gloves unless you need your hands out of the pockets, and the drawstrings around the waist and face keep even the most ambitious winds away. Will be overkill for temperatures over 25 degrees F if you are siting still, or 15F with even moderate activity.
