"The Pockets Ruin This Vest" 01/28/13

I really wanted to like this vest. I've worn it twice now, once for an 8 mile run and then for a 1/2 marathon. The material, weight, and fit are all about exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, the side pockets are horribly designed. Its a very light-weight and flimsy zipper and the silk-weight material around the zippers can easily get pulled into the teeth. This happened during my 1/2 marathon this weekend and the pocket was useless until I was able to get home and work on it for a while. Once unstuck, I found the teeth in the zipper were permanently damaged and now the zipper has a tendency to split.
