"Soft but short and tight for size" 06/05/12

I ordered a 32 and the fit is a little tight. They are not as long as other shorts either, so good for running/hiking. They have a nice soft shell feel to them, but I had to return as they are too tight fitting for me.

"Love. These. Shorts." 06/10/11

How do I love these shorts? Let me count the ways. 1. The fabric is very comfortable against the skin. Doesn't itch/scratch/feel weird. 2. The fabric is very cool and light. Much preferable, in my opinion, to cotton shorts for hot weather. 3. The fabric is strong. It won't tear in a light breeze like some of these things. 4. They fit very comfortably and true to size. I range from a 32-34 depending on the brand. I think my true size is more like a 32, but for companies like Royal Robbins I have to size up. Marmot 32 fits me great.
