Pants are perfect for warm weather hiking. They are thin and breath well, yet solid quality...I have no worries of tears or premature wear and tear. The back pockets and one side pocket have zippers, which is indispensible if you don't want to worry about losing the contents.
Great hiking pants for summer hiking. They are thin, breath well yet great quality. Love the zipper pockets in the back and the one on the side. Great to place things and not worry of losing it while hiking. Marmot makes great quality clothes and this is no exception.
Love these! I've worn them on a few trips now and they are nice and light for warmer weather. When the temps drop, just wear some long underwear and these still work great. I like how the back and cargo pockets have zippers on them so there is no fear of losing stuff while you are in the woods.
The Cruz pant is excellent for summer days hiking. I love the material which is very light and feels cool on the skin. The fabrics is thin but has held up well so far on my weekend hiking trips. The regular version has an inseam of 32", and the short version 30".
How do I love these pants? Let me count the ways. 1. The fabric is very comfortable against the skin. Doesn't itch/scratch/feel weird. 2. The fabric is very cool and light. Much preferable, in my opinion, to cotton shorts for hot weather. 3. The fabric is strong. It won't tear in a light breeze like some of these things. 4. They fit very comfortably and true to size. I range from a 32-34 depending on the brand. I think my true size is more like a 32, but for companies like Royal Robbins I have to size up. Marmot 32 fits me great. I normally wear a 32 or 33 length and these are likewise spot-on. I also recently purchased the Marmot cruz shorts and those are an equally excellent product.
