"All you need for a Backpacking Trip." 05/19/13

I brought these backpacking up in the Trinity Alps. Days were hot and Nights were cold, so these convertible pants came in perfectly. One day I even went from Pants, to Shorts to Swimming shorts! Then back to pants during the night. It cuts down the weight and room of having two separate pairs of shorts and pants. Bottom Line....get them they are awesome.

"Good pair of convertibles" 11/02/12

I like these marmot cruz convertibles. They are perfect for those spring/fall hikes when the weather may turn at any moment. The marmot cruz's are a tad longer than the stated length. i wear a 30 inch length and own both the cruz convertible and non convertible. Both are a bit long but I don't mind as I usually have boots on anyway. The zippers on the side of each leg are nice especially when wearing higher boots.
