"I love this jacket!" 01/27/12
I wear this all season when it's cold. Waterproof, windproof, breathable, comfortable and stylish! What more could you ask for?? I ski in this jacket. I hike in this jacket. I camp in this jacket. I wear this jacket out on the town. It's super comfortable and the outer shell is soft breathable material keeping you comfortable and dry. It's super warm and I've used it in temps below 20 degrees many times. Often with just a base layer and a long sleeve on. Awesome jacket, get one!
"i have no insulation" 12/21/11
i hate cold weather just because i hate being bulky with all the layers just trying to stay warm, but with this jacket all i need is a base layer and i warm no matter what the conditions are. this jacket is by far the best bang for buck. . . . you should totally get it. p.s. moosejaw is awesome
"Greater Than the Sum of It's Parts" 12/11/11
The shell is ultra watertight/windproof, the fleece is very warm, and put together it has served me well in everything from the seemingly endless 33º F autumn rainstorms of Ohio to climbing Mt. Washington in the -20º dead of winter. My only gripes are that the fleece insert has an odd fit to it. I'm 6'1", athletic build and the Medium fleece has a lot of room, yet comes up above my belt area. It doesn't have any elastic on the waist either, it just kinda hangs there. It's nothing too bad, still comfortable, but you should just know its probably not going to be a snug fit unless you've got a little more meat on your bones.

I just got mine in today and I LOVE it already! Both the shell and the fleece are made with great, comfortable material and it fits like a glove. Rainy and chilly here in Indiana today, but this jacket is going to do me very well. Can't wait to try it out in even worse conditions! If you're looking for a warm, weather-proof, and reasonably priced component jacket, this is where it's at!
