The Marmot Lithium 0 Degree Sleeping bag is a favorite for scrupulous gear hounds. Marmot took a minimalist approach when designing this 0 degree down sleeping bag to keep the weight down (2 pounds 12.27 ounces) for fast and light travel in the harshest of conditions. This Marmot sleeping bag is stuffed to the brim with 870 grams of top-notch 850+ goose down and features a down-filled collar, an oversized, insulated draft tube and Marmot’s world famous Nautilus six baffled hood. No way any pesky drafts will get at you in this bag. Both the 20D, 100% recycled, polyester mini ripstop lining material and the nylon ripstop outer material have a DWR coating, which will cause condensation to bead up instead of wetting through your bag. On top of all that, the Marmot Lithium has a full-length zipper, so not only can it act as a go-to bag for solo backcountry pursuits, it can also zip together with your mon petit chou’s bag for a romantic evening under the stars. If you’re looking for a cold weather bag that will stand the test of time, the Marmot Lithium is screaming your name. It’s redic. Pinky swear.

"Super Warm and Super Comfy!!!"  12/13/11

Got this bag to do some backpacking outside of Durango, Co when the weather was a bit chilly 15 degrees or so. This bag kept me plenty warm. Other bonuses super light and with a compression sack gets nice and small! Great Bag!!!!!

"Dreams are FLUFFY and HOT in this bag"  12/31/10

This bag is top of the line! Packs super small and fluffs up beyond belief. In fact, if you were to take this bag out of stuff sack outside of the tent, you may not get it in the door. Quality is outstanding! Worth every penny!

"This bag is the bees knees!"  07/29/10

This bag is great it has tons of loft and is nice and warm. I bought it for a winter bag and have used it twice so far with great success. Kept me warm in Glacier National Park and backcountry skiing in Tuckerman Ravine, NH. The stuff sack does seem to be lightweight. (I don't know how it will hold up long term but seems to work well so far.) Because of the awesome loft the bag is a tough stuff, but worth the effort. I am loving this bag and can't wait for it to be cold enough that I can use it again.

"Packs super small, keeps you warm."  03/21/09

I used this bag on my recent climb of Aconcagua and almost found it to be too warm! I only zipped it up all the way when the temps dropped to minus 10F. The bag is incredibly small when you use a compression stuff sack, but fluffs up quickly and is very comfortable. I love it.

"everything you could want in 0 degree"  10/13/08

this thing packs down to the size of a volleyball with a compression sack. just picked up a silk liner for it to keep it nice when i'm scummy after a long day on the trail or the rocks. this baby is going to treat me nice for a loooong time. fluffs back up in seconds after removing from the compression sack. i feel like a baby in a womb inside of this thing.

"For what I gained in lightness, I gave up some in the way of water repellency..."  08/28/08

Very lightweight bag, comfortable fit, and kept me warm. However, we had some condensation issues in our tent and I ended up retaining some moisture (on the exterior of the bag -- the inside stayed dry though to be fair) while my tentmates' Mountain Hardwear bags shed water like nobody's business. In hindsight, I'd go with the Mountain Hardwear Banshee SL 0-degree bag instead. Yeah, it's 10 ounces heavier, but the water resistance of the SL shell is worth the extra carry weight in my opinion. Both bags retail out at the same price point...
