"Great Size... Easy Setup" 12/12/11

Went camping a couple of weekends ago with 4 other couples. We had this awesome tent while everyone else had hand-me-downs or poor knock-offs from a Big Box Store. We had ours completely set up within minutes and were sitting beside the fire that we had started while everyone else was still trying to figure out how their poles fit together.Comes with everything. Durable. Decently Light. Hard to Beat. Get one!

The Marmot Limelight 4 Tent is a roomy, lightweight tent ideal for summer backpacking and car-camping adventures. The limelight is a slim 8 lb 5 oz and incorporates an easy to get into two door design. Four strong DAC poles anchor this sturdy free standing tent along with the included stakes. Quick clips will also allow you to setup the tent in a jiffy. Two large vestibules allows you to store your gear outside while enjoying the room inside. Bottom Line: You can find features like these in other tents, but not at this price."

"Very sturdy tent....great features" 06/05/11

I just got back from a trip to Boise National Forest in this tent, and it did a great job. I did compare this tent to a lynx pass 4 by big agnes, and it was a very close call between which one I liked better. This did have a smaller footprint and weigh half a pound more, but it has a much better fit and finish. The pole design also made it very sturdy…and nice and tight walls. The front and back walls are also near vertical, which is great for sitting up inside the tent. I did notice that the space between the walls and the rainfly was not very large…in winds they touched…thus, you’ll get condensation on the mesh (and thus drips on your bags) during the night…

"Great Tent, do not expect 4 people in it though" 05/12/11

This is a great tent for the money. Like most lightweight tents you are not going to get as many people in as they claim. Makes a good 3 person though.

"Good for Summer, but forget about Spring or Fall" 04/11/11

This is my second review for this tent - I've been through it all in this thing - we rode an all-night downpour, complete with lightning and hail, in it.Pros: Kept mostly dry, considering the weather. Easy set-up, and double vestibules=awesome, although they don't stay tight over the doors. Cons: DRAFTY. I thought the short ceiling would help keep in heat, but all that mesh let it out. There is mesh above your head, regardless of where you sleep, and if it's chillier than 40 degrees, you're going to wake up with a stuffy nose. We woke up freezing, and that was on the night that there was NO storm, and I had covered both doors with ponchos to keep the heat in and breeze out.

"Killer Tent" 03/16/11

I purchased this tent after a huge amount of research to find a 4P tent that could still work backpacking with a group to split up the load or as a roomy car camper for two. The kicker compared to others was the 2 doors / vestibules and the ability to setup barebones...

"Great Tent for Families (who are still too gear-lusty to throw in the towel)" 03/12/11

Our 3p became too small when our family grew (two small children≠one adult), and this 4p beauty was the result of our long search.Things we LOVE: footprint; lower ceiling height (warmer); looks pretty awesome, especially with the rain-fly on; fly window, so you can see if that's a bear or not right outside.Things we LIKE: Gear loft; easy clip set-up, although the poles are connected, which is unwieldy. Make sure no one you like is standing nearby.Things that make us miss our first tent: Mesh! It’s always nice to decide how much your neighbors can see.We didn't want a boxy behemoth of a shelter, and this keeps us warm, dry, and with enough room to still be happy in the morning.

"This tent is great and I can't wait to use it" 03/05/11

I bought this Marmot Limelight 4 Person tent and I set it up within a few minutes in my living room. I'm no tent expert, but this tent was super easy to set up and break down, I can't wait to get out this spring and use it.
