Not the lightest tent out there but definitely one of the best values for money around as I'm not willing to pay the huge increase in price I'd need to pay for anything lighter. Comfortable for the two of us, think it would be a bit tight for 3.

"Good little tent" 10/16/11

Overall, a great buy for the money- relatively lightweight, well constructed. Quick, easy setup. We put it together in the dark in under 5 minutes. I don't know that it would truly fit 3 adults, it was cozy but adequate for two me, my husband, and our 60 lb. dog.

"Great Tent, Great Value and VERY EASY SETUP!" 09/29/11

Bought this tent for backpacking for my wife and I, and although it is a 3 person tent, I would not recommend, it would be pretty cramped! We were trying to choose between The North Face Rock 32 and the Limelight, and chose this tent because of the INCLUDED footprint and gear loft, which is very useful and the poles are DAC Press-Fit =Strong. This was my wife's first time backpacking, and first time I had her setting up a tent, she figured it out and we set it up within 10 min tops footprint/tent and the Fly, I’m sure we will have a faster setup next time because it was VERY SIMPLE!!! Would recommend to anyone wanting a good 3-season tent!

"Best tent I've ever owned" 08/21/11

Just finished an 8 day backpacking trip in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness in Montana. Most days above 8,000 and two nights above treeline. What I like about this tent: 1. Sets up FAST - under 2 minutes from packed to pitched.2. Great in windy conditions. Held the rainfly up after tear-down and it went instantly horizontal but the tent never caused a moment's worry when pitched.3. Light. I carried the rainfly, poles and footprint. My partner carried the tent. Compacts nicely in the pack and the poles wrap perfectly in the sleeping pag.4. Comfortable. Good circulation. Guy out the rainfly sides and get even better circulation. Roomy and perfect for two with extra gear, e.g. long trip.

"Worth every penny" 08/16/11

This tent is amazing! I always share my tent with a bud. Since its a 3 man its not cramped. The best part is the mesh windows for ventilation. and the "moonhole" on the fly to check the weather. SWEET.Mark

"This product is well worth more than I paid for it. I'm proud of myself for this purchase." 07/16/11

Right when I received my Limelight 3, I ripped the box open and took it outside to set up. I kid you not, it took me about 3 minutes to set it up from opening the bag to inside with the fly staked in. I am a big dude, 6'4 and 370 lbs, and I layed down and didn't touch either side with my head or feet. My girlfriend got inside and we still had a ton of space left if we needed to put the bags inside. The tent is very light weight, packs easily, and looks great. The fact that it comes with the free footpad and gear loft is just a huge bonus. Price is right, size is great, qulaity is awesome. Also, I got the darker colored tent and it is a forest green color, looks great -Nathan

"Roomy, super easy setup, and packs fairly small." 06/20/11

Overall, this is a great tent for the money. A small gear pocket in each corner, plus the gear loft and ground cloth are included and are super helpful. We like that you can use just the rain fly with the ground cloth to make a lightweight shelter. Ventilation without the fly on is good, and although there isn't a lot of mesh the views are fairly decent when you're laying down.With the fly on, ventilation does suffer a bit BUT it keeps the tent about 20 degrees warmer than outside when two people and a dog inside.

"This Tent ROCKS!" 04/20/11

I could set this tent up with my eyes closed an one hand tied behine my back! It's that simple. It's stylish against the earth tones, and nice to star gaze through the mesh roof on a clear night. Haven't been through any deluge storms with it yet, but I'm sure that will come soon enough. I trusted the other reviewers on the fact it is a dry son of a gun. It's a back pack tent without the backpack tent price--just gotta be smart about how you pack it. I love the fact it comes with the footprint. If it wasn't for the rattlesnakes and scorpions and tarrantulas wanting to get in bed with me, I would use the fly/footprint shelter only. Can't deal with the creepy crawlies in my bag, though.

"Great tent" 04/18/11

Its all about the backpack when going hiking and what not. This tent works great with my pack and lets me hold much more. Will be taking it to many summer festivals to come message me if you are goin to All Good and Electric Forest :)

"Great tent easy set up" 04/18/11

This is a good tent once i got it i took it out and set it up without directions. everything that goes in your pack. sleeping bag, tent, sleeping mat, and other items its all about the pack. so this tent goes well with my tent and that makes it easy to carry. Will be taking this to the summer festivals! Message me if you can ill be goin to All Good, Electric Forest and more :)

"Can't go wrong with Marmot!" 01/21/11

I received this the day before a trip to Cumberland Island, Ga and was worried I wasn't going to know the setup well. That wasn't the case at all as it took only 10 minutes to set it up in my living room (recommend practice before taking it out) so with a buddy it would be up in no time. Love the 4 pockets on each corner. If your a star-gazer then this may not be the best tent because of the limited viewing angles while inside but that doesn't bother me. One thing to keep in mind is to not step on the doors when unzipped. It would be easy to tear the mesh if your not careful. That's minor though. Can't beat the included footprint and gear loft. Definitely would buy again! Thanks Moosejaw!
