The Marmot Limelight 3 Person Tent is a backpacking tent for three season camping and hiking. The Limelight 3 is a spacious place for two or a cozy shelter for three. The package includes everything you need for a backpacking trip, tent body, poles, rain fly, gear loft, and footprint. The tent body connects to the poles via clips, making for a fast set up. The rain fly is 100% polyester ripstop with 1800mm coating for wet weather protection, which creates two vestibules at opposite sides of the tent for keeping your gear dry. The D-shaped doors allow for easy entry and exit, are half-mesh for ventilation, and can be unzipped and rolled to the side for even more venting. The Bare Bones setup allows you to pitch the tent with just the footprint, poles, and rain fly, making your pack lighter and the adventure faster. Just watch out for skeeters.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Tent Here Overall this tent is a win. It’s a great balance of cost and features. Sure you can find tents that will out perform the Marmot but you will also pay significantly more for them. Additionally, you can find a gob of tents that are a lot cheaper than this tent but you will undoubtedly be compromising somewhere else. So if you’re looking for a solid all around tent that won’t break the bank, go buy a Marmot Limelight 3P. We wrote a full review on it and shot a video for everyone if your interested (sorry for the link but MJ does not allow you to upload videos for the reviews!) Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great performance at mid price range. Used the Mermot Limelight 3, a good two person tent, for a week in Minnesota's BWCA . All types of conditions, some extreme wind, rain, and hail. Tent performed well. A little splash back off of the fry and up onto the lower side screens, but never had any water in the tent, with a shallow river flowing under it at times. For Two people, offers room for bags and packs, and vestibule offers extra space for boots and other gear. Like the custom ground cloth with corner tabs and grommets, stays centered under tent, even if you move the tent. Like the more environmentally friendly sage green color. Set up with one person in about four minutes, including the fry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tent with a purpose I recently purchased this tent. The first Marmot tent I have owned. After using the tent in two different excursions, one to the mountains with rain and 30 mph winds and temps in the mid 30's and one on a caving and kayaking excursion with rain the first day and temps in the lower 20's, I have come to the conclusion that this is one of the finest tents I have ever purchased. It held up great in the wind and not a drop of rain entered the tent. My wife and I were just as cozy as could be inside and this made the trips more enjoyable and memorable! Thanks Marmot and Moosejaw for an amazing experience!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent price, easy to use and high quality tent I have owned several tents and for the money this is one of the best. First time I set it up I did so in the dark while watching 2 kids and it still took no more that 3 minutes. The first night was clear and tucking the rain fly up for more air flow was simple. Second night was raining and with the rain fly down absolutely nothing seeped into the tent. Shared the tent with my kids and using the vestibules for our larger items left us snug but not uncomfortable inside. Overall very impressed with the performance and quality of this tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TWO Person Tent There might not be enough room for three normal sized (American) human beings for this tent, but it is perfect for two people and a bag or two of gear. I have never had a problem with rain, and it stood up to 40 MPH winds in the NC mountains. It is VERY easy to set up and take down and only takes a minute or two to do. Quality tent! ,,,,Note: Be sure to set up your tents before going out in the wild. There is nothing worse than getting yelled at sitting inside your pitched tent (with a beverage in hand) watching others try to set up their tent they have never used before (even worse when the weather isn't cooperating, at night). You won't have a problem getting this tent set up in no time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big on Value ! My wife and I bought this tent for camping in the DryTortugas NP, it did an awesome job holding up to 20-30 mph wind for three nights. And we loved the fact that it came with a footprint and gear loft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A quality tent As I unpacked it,the first thing I noticed was how much lighter it was compaired to my other 3 man tent.I then unwrapped it,the poles were so light and the tent was well made.I looked for instructions so I could set it up,there were none,no worries it was easy to set up.Zippers work great, don't get caught up on the sides when your opening or closing the tent.I then jumped inside,a great 2 man tent.Sure you can get 3 people in it sittting down playing cards on a rainy afternoon, but if you want to sleep with some elbow room,2 people is the way to go.I read a few reviews that said the same.To be honest,I haven't tried it with 2 other adults but with my 2 kids, the tent was just fine for the 3 of us.I'm very happy I bought this tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first high quality tent...why did I wait so long? I finally sprung for a better tent than what you get at the local discount store...and what a difference. You can just feel the quality as you put this tent together...which is super easy. The poles are light and strong. The tent breathes well. Even the included stakes are decent. The included gear loft, though kind of small, and the included footprint make it an even better value. Of course a tent rated for 3 is actually for 2 if you want any space. For us it worked well with 2 adults and 2 labs. Cozy. I love it!
