The Marmot Helium Sleeping Bag is a lightweight sleeping bag for backpacking adventures down to 15 degrees. The Helium is packed with 850 fill power goose down that is treated with Down Defender, making the bag more water-resistant on damp adventures. The Pertex Microlight shell and lining is soft to the touch and easy to slip inside for a bit of shut eye. A durable water repellent treatment on the shell repels water, a bonus when waking up in a tent full of condensation. The three season bag comes in at 2lbs 6oz and packs down small, in its included stuff sack, taking up less room in your pack. When the adventure ends store it in the included storage sack to maintain loft as you dream up your next trail exploration.

Compact warmth! This was by far the smallest in volume sleeping bag I've ever had and (at the time I bought it) the warmest). It packs into a ridiculously small size and it is very warm. It is a 3 season bag though so when the temperature drops less than -10C you need something warmer. Unfortunately I was forced to upgrade with the marmot Lithium when on a very windy day it flew away from my balcony where I had it drying!

All around good sleeping bag with a few very minor issuesPros: warm, full zipper, correct size, light, packages extremely small, good quality,,,,Cons: zipper occasionally jams, hot and cold spots, slightly uncomfortable for the head,,,,I'm being very picky just so give you some small issues, but overall I'm glad I bought it and I would either buy the Plasma or the Helium next time.

Awesome bag!I haven't went out on the trail with it yet but I did spend a few hours on my deck a few weeks ago looking at the stars on my camp sleep pad. Had to test it out before heading out and possibly finding out the hard way if it was going to keep my butt warm or not. When I went in the house it was 19 degrees outside and I was still warm. Pretty sweet because I'm not warm natured. If you moved around a little you could feel a little cool spot where your legs were touching a new spot but warmed right back up quickly. Actual comfort rating is 27 I think and I was doing good well below that so I am pleased with my purchase. I was laying out in the open with it cinched up around my face and there was condensation on the bag from where I was breathing and it was beaded up on the bag and wiped right off and didn't soak in. Thought that was nice but remember I was only out there for a couple of hours. I can't say if it would have soaked through and got wet or not after a longer period of time. By far the nicest bag I have ever had. Very comfortable for a mummy and warm! And at 2 pounds 2.6 ounces it's hard to beat. Especially having treated down. Only two bags I have found that matched the weight and warmth are from Western mountaineering and feathered friends. Neither of them have treated down and are more expensive. Same 850 down fill power, weight, warmth, and durability, and fabric quality with treated down for a little less money equals no brainer.
