The Marmot Halo 4 Person Tent is ideal for both car camping and outdoor living alike. This functional family tent boasts easy set-up and the innovative Halo pole structure, and also offers a full coverage and fully seam-taped fly, dual doors and vestibules, and ground-level side vents. Ultimately, this three-season tent is both livable and durable, and will serve you and your family for years to come. Plus, the inside pockets will keep everything you brought with you off the floor, which is great, because the other campers you're sharing the tent with are probably messy, and you don't want them stomping all over your awesome gear.

"Awesome" 03/15/11
We upgrade to a 4P because our 2P was too small with our dog. This thing is enormously spacious and very easy to setup, lots of pockets, etc. The vents are also excellent. Durable and doesn't seem to let water in, but we did add the footprint. If I were to buy another tent to have as a backup, it would be this one.
"Nice tent well built." 09/07/10
Lot's of room for a tent with a 4 person footprint. Easy setup but the instructuctions that came with the tent are poor. We slept with the fly off and air flow was good for south texas heat in May. Can't wait to use it again.
"Excellent car camping tent" 07/05/10
First night out in this tent, we got dumped on in a big thunderstorm. Rain came down in sheets, and the wind blew, but we stayed dry and the tent held up well. I did seal the floor and rain fly the day before. Sleeps two adults, two kids comfortably. Easy and quick setup. If you're looking for a solid tent with a fly that nearly stretches to the ground, this tent is a good choice.
"So roomy" 06/23/10
When this says four person, I think it means five people and a dog. I went camping with my kids (all three of them) my dog (standard poodle - don't laugh), and my ex-husband (don't ask).We all fit in there with plenty of room for our gear.It rained a lot that weekend and we spent a lot of time cooped up in the tent. It held up well. We played Uno and had a jolly good time. This tent is super spacious and I utterly impressed the ex by being able to set it up, in the dark, all by myself.
"Great tent for the size but I prefer my MSR Hubba Hubba" 09/03/08
A boxer in our very small but awesome MSR was cramping our style so we got the Marmot Halo 4. Directions are terrible, setup is easy. 3 campers are more realistic and you can stand up. Packs small for a big tent but won’t backpack or kayak with it. Lots of pockets. Solid in wind. It looks cool, especially for a "family" sized tent. Ventilation is OK not as good as my MSR (spoiled?). Floor is thin, but it made it through 4 nights on gravel with a big dog in it and still looks new, so it will probably be ok. GET THE FOOTPRINT - tent won’t set up well without it, and you can do a set up with just it and the fly. Cool tent large enough for a small family or 2 people and a big dog!
"No regrets" 08/16/08
This tent is freaking awsome, after wasting my money on cheap pieces of crap, I finally splurged, and am sure glad I did. When properly set up this tent is rock solid, plenty of room and pockets to keep gear out of the way
"This is the Mona Lisa of tents" 05/28/08
This tent is the real deal. I have been able to use it twice in the two weeks I have owned it. This tent sets up in 5 to 10 minutes and weighs hardly anything. It has numerous vents and you wake up in the morning without that awkward tent smell you usually get. I highly recommend this tent.
