The Mammut Women's Aconcagua Hoody is a stretch fleece jacket for mid-layer warmth while climbing and hiking. The Aconcagua Hoody is made with Polartec Power Stretch Pro fabric, with a soft and cozy touch on the inside and smooth, nylon face on the outside. The outside is durable for taking on the outdoors, resisting abrasion and drying quickly in damp situations. The athletic cut is close to the body, allowing for a hardshell to be pulled over top in harsher conditions. The thumbloops keep the hands warmer and sleeves in place. The hand pockets secure glove liners and extra snacks for the adventure.

Love love love! This is awesome! I've worn this multiple days up in the mountains of the Berkshires and Holyoke range with windchills in the mid-30s, just the Mammut Go Warm tee under it and stayed completely warm. The only times I felt any chill was when I was down by the lake where the wind speeds were around 20mph. The chill was not so bad though that I even considered putting another layer on.
Wearing this back and forth to work in the 40s provides reasonable warmth but with activity in those temps, the fleece provides incredible warmth without overheating.
The fleece interior is incredibly soft as is the nylon exterior. The hoodie fits very close to the body and doesn't create any bulk, quite flattering. The pockets are high enough up so that they're accessible with a hip belt and large enough to carry quite a few items in. The hood fit snugly around my head which meant it stayed put even when it was windy and eliminated the need for me to grab out a hat when the temps dropped.
