Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Size, Awkward to Carry When I read about the Soho, I thought, "Trifold? That sounds nice!" Really, it's weird. It makes a triangular shape on your back which is awkward to carry. It's NBD if your approach is short, but if it's short, why don't you use a larger crash pad (because we all know size matters)? That said, the trifold is nice because you can take all sorts of gear in the middle with no need to worry about it falling out because it has this nifty bottom cover to keep gear in.,,,,Aside from the shape, it's great. It's big enough that you don't have to worry about missing it, especially if you have a great spotter like my friend Mike. It's small enough that a fly-weight like myself can (awkwardly) handle it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Innovative design, comfortable to wear, great for carrying lots of gear Though you might not be able to tell from the picture, this pad actually has TWO vertical folds instead of just one. That means that it folds into a triangular prism instead of a "book." It has a flap that hooks under the bottom to seal in your things. So if you have a lot of stuff to carry, this pad works really well. I've had the pad for more than a year now, and have put it to very heavy use. The materials definitely have withstood the wear quite well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Innovative Design Lightweight and the concept of the way it folds is ingenious. I bought this without seeing one, but I am glad I purchased it. Large enough to fit all your gear and unfortunately your entire friend’s gear too. It's amazing how lazy your friends get when they can just throw all their stuff in your pad. The only downside I found is the shoulder strap is weird on your neck and not comfortable for long approaches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a cool idea!!! As far as a crash pad, I'm sure it's as good as any - but the backpack feature is genius. I even use it sport climbing because its so easy to pack everything up around the belay area and move to the next spot. The only downside is that you get a lot of "Hey, is it cool if I throw this in there?" while you're walking with buddies.
