I ordered this kit because I needed an extra harness and a chalk bag, and found the kit on sale. However, when I finally got my order, it wasn't exactly the products shown/described. It may have been just me, but instead I got the ophir 3 slide harness (better), the element HMS biner, the element light belay device (better), and the basic chalk bag with a 40g ball of chalk. Overall very satisfied, the products are all great. I have used the ophir slide before and love the easiness of putting it on and off. The carabiner and belay device are good but nothing out of the ordinary. I just wish the chalk bag had a clippable strap instead of the drawstring
Good over all package for beginners. The Belay device looks sketchy but it works very well. Also, it comes with an awesome carabiner that I really really liked. The chalk bag is also very good. It came with a very useful strap so u can use just the chalk bag without the harness. Overall, I really like this package and I would definitely buy it again!
This was absolutely the perfect gift for my brother when I got fed up with waiting for him to get his own gear. Love Mammut. Everything about them is great. They are fantastically efficient, and I love their details. Simple and effective are two words which make me very very happy. Highly recommended as a gym starter kit, or for someone who needs gear to join up with a group who already has a decent pile of pro... Love the kit...
