Strong, Durable, LightMammut Contact Slings are strong, durable and light. I've been using them for 4 years for a lot of trad rock and ice climbing (>300 pitches last year). During that time, I've only had to replace 3 out of 15 due to excess wear (I play it very safe with gear). They rack well and don't tangle. My only gripe is that I get a bit confused by the color scheme and sizing. I wish the industry would come up with a standard way to describe a sling. Is 120cm the total length of the material (i.e., if it weren't sewn end-to-end) or is it half the length of the material because it is sewn in a loop???

Light Weight and not bulkyKeep coming back to buying these, nice to keep a bunch of these for alpines though I prefer nylon for double lengths as I can tie knots/weight/remove knots easier for simple anchors where I dont want to break out a cord.

Good thin runnerI use this runner for 90% of my alpine draws. Its light and has pretty smooth handling. There is a sheath around the stitching that allows biners to rotate freely on the sling and not get hung up.,,,,The only small complaint I have is that the stitching section of the sling is longer than the Black Diamond runners, so you have to fiddle with the sling a bit more (comparatively) when racking it as an alpine draw to get it to sit right. Minor issue though. These are great runners
