Good as a first set but not for a more experienced climber.I found them too short for significant trad use and the gates lost tension in about two seasons. on the plus side though, they're easy to clip and would probably be good to learn on.
These quickdraws are perfect for straight forward face sport climbing. The combo with straight gates and wire gates provide a little added security. They're great for general use sport climbing, although you'll need to intersperse with longer draws on any type of traversing route. All in all, I use these every time I climb and they have worked out great for me.
These quickdraws are reasonably priced and work great. The wire gate is easy to clip and the top beaner is also easy to clip to the bolts. Not the lightest draws you can get but they are half the price of many other sets and work just as well.
I really like these draws. They are smooth clipping, not too heavy, and keep you safe (what more could you ask for?) I especially like that they have both a wire gate and normal straight gate carabiners. The rubber ring inside the dog bone on the clipping side is great for keeping the carabiner still while clipping. I would definitely recommend buying two packs though.
These quickdraws are a nice little addition to my sport rack. I rock Black Diamand livewires as my main draws, but bought these so that I could have more for longer routes and multi pitches. They clip just fine and are smaller in the hand than the livewires. Overall, definitely pleased with these quick draws and will probably buy 3 more to round out my sport rack to 20 draws, even. Bonus = 10 dollars cheaper than the livewires per draw...
