"Worth It" 04/14/11
350$ sounded like a lot for essentially a glorified tarp, but it earned its money on the first trip. Totally failed canoe trip strong storms, high winds, flooding, you name it. We took shelter under this and I really thought, well this is going to be a very expensive kite after it tears apart and sails off into the trees. It held strong all night though and made a totally miserable trip for my family a little more bearable. Extremely lightweight for size, very wind stable design, easy to set up even for one, it goes on all trips now with a chance of rain. The only drawback with mine was the lack of taped seams and it looks like they have fixed that for current model.
