MSR WindPro II Stove is a versatile camp stove that aims to meet all of your group cooking needs. It can run in traditional upright mode for efficiency and flame control or the canister can be inverted on the included stand to deliver liquid gas directly to the burner. That was almost word for word from MSR's site because, let's face it, they know more about stoves than I do. (If this were a product description for wearing a hat sideways, I'd be the authority). What I do know about this stove is this: it weighs in at a lightweight 6.6 oz, packs into a one liter pot, and boils water quickly even in cold weather and at elevation.
FEATURES of the MSR WindPro II Stove
Inverted Liquid-Feed: Inverting canister allows stove to run on liquid fuel for increased cold-weather and low-fuel performance
Remote Burner: Added stability for use with large pots and allows the use of a windscreen for maximum efficiency
Supports pots up to 10" maximum diameter
Compatible with bake ovens
Stove combines the stability and wind protection of a remote-burner design with the convenience of canister fuel
Unlike other canister stoves the WindPro II is capable of running on liquid-feed direct from the canister

Pretty, pretty, pretty good.Used this guy whilst hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. Had no troubles boiling some beans at 12,000 feet. Comes with a nice mesh carrying case and windscreen. It's an older design but surely bulletproof.

It works great as a stove, not super sturdyI used this stove on a six week backpacking adventure across the US. I used it at least twice a day, dinner and breakfast and each time I had to screw unscrew the gas canister. After 5 weeks the threading on the stove completely wore out. I had to switch to cooking in a jetboil because I simply could not screw on the gas. They don't sell a repair or replacement kit for the gas mount but were super cool about replacing the stove. It should have lasted longer than 5 weeks. ,,,,

Warms your stuffGreat stove if you don't want a tippy canister stove that you can't use a windscreen with. This burns very hot and boils extremely quickly. Works really well with MSR pots, as they have a texture on the bottom that is designed for use with their stoves. Used both a small cup and a Flex 3 set without problem. It doesn't have an igniter, so I recommend the piezo igniter that is sold separately.
