The MSR StowAway 775 ml Pot is a stainless steel pot for cooking in the backcountry. The strong steel is durable and built to last, even when you lose your grip on it in camp and it tumbles to the earth, bouncing off rocks before coming to a halt. The 13 ounce pot can fit gear on the inside, just close the handle over the lid and lock it tight before tossing it in your pack. Mix up a pot of something tasty, morning, noon, and night.

Great for backpacking!I bought this pot without really knowing how big of a pot I was getting. It ended up being the perfect size for my backpacking trips (I got the 775ml)! Its very packable and also has a nice snap top closure to stuff the pot with other gear/clothes to maximize space usage in the pack. It's light enough to take without it being a hassle. Also, having a lid makes boiling water really fast.
My partner and I usually eat freeze dried backpacker meals for dinner and for the ones that take about 1.5 - 2 cups of water each makes this pot perfect as well as it can boil up to 3 cups (granted we usually like putting a little less water in the backpacker meals as they tend to run watery for our liking). Great buy and great price!

Smoke Pot!After purchasing an MSR tent, I decided to try their cookware. I’m very impressed by this company. I decided on the StowAway 775 ml Pot for solo use. I think it’s the best option for an independent adventurer. I recommend the 1.1 if you travel with a partner. Since the pot is steel it’s a good option for camp fires. It won’t warp with direct heat. Most of the time I’ll be using it on a homemade alcohol stove (Super Cat design). The base width is perfect for this stove design. What I really like about the pot is its folding handle, it keeps the top on. The top is also going to make a good plate. Although the top is small, you could fry some eggs in it. What else could you use the top for? I recommend leaving the mirror at home, its very shinny. Can’t wait to smoke some fish!
