The MSR Revo Flotation Tails are a five inch extension for your Revo snowshoes. The Revo Floatation Tails extends the length of your snowshoe, making travel through deeper snow easier, or for adventures requiring you carry a heavier load. The tails work with all Revo snowshoe models and lengths, so you can attach them to different versions if you have several. The light weight allows you to carry them in your pack and attach them quickly when the packed trail ends and the deep snow field begins.
FEATURES of the MSR Revo Flotation Tails
Works with all Revo snowshoe models and lengths
Light and low-profile for easy packing on any trip
Simple attachment system with no moving parts lets you attach and remove tails without removing shoes; no tools required
Small and light enough to bring on any trip, you can take advantage of the agility of a smaller, primary snowshoe in packed conditions, while adding 5-inches (13cm) of flotation on-demand for deeper snow, or when carrying heavier packs

They fall off. This product didn't stay on so I sent them back. it also has the traction rail on the back, I love the traction rail( aggressive sides instead of tubes) on the snow shoes but on the back they act as a snow plow. It may not be much but you do notice it.

disappointingI used this once in rough terrain, little did I realized, I had lost one of the tails in deep powder. Disappointing, given they were securely(or so it seemed) fitted.
