"Helped me on the uphill, saved me on the downhill." |

| Light and compact. Slight tendency to collapse during extended uses (every few miles from minute hand torque while hiking can be fixed with more consciencous use). Once I got them tightened right no more problems. These SAVED me on the down hill (4000 feet drop in 1.25 miles) My knees wouldn't have been able to take it were it not for these awesome trekkers. They stability when fatigued and increased my overall speed (don't ask me how, but they do). Comfortable grip (no staining from sweat), easy to adjust, good baskets, GRIP ROCKS like you wouldn't believe! (i was certainly impressed). Overall Love 'em a lot. A+. | |

"When MSR does something, they do it right." |

| I like these much better than Leki. They are light, the foam grip is comfortable other poles, with harder or softer foam grips, have given me blisters. As Goldilocks would say, These are just right. I thought I might miss the anti-shock feature, but found I like poles without them better. When you put pressure on the pole, there's not that little bit of give that gets annoying after a while. The grips are comfortable, they stay locked for length, and they feel lighter and better balanced than other poles I've used. | |

| Tried them up last weekend in the French Alps in deep snow with snowshoes. Worked great! Just need to make sure that you tigh them up strong enough to avoid the bottom section of the pole disappearing inside. Product up to any job! | |

"An awsome buy!" |

| Excellent trekking pole, extremely light, and comfortable to use. Several of my friends have Leki poles, they had issues with the hand grip turning their hands black with their first use, no problem here. Would recommend to anyone. | |

| Like other MSR products, these poles are very high quality and they are super light. My only fear with them is that my wife may take them from me. | |
