"The MSR Mutha Hubba is a bomber tent for the spring and summer months. All the mesh makes it very comfy and easy to experience a starry night, plus that five day trail odor doesn't stick around for long inside with all the air flow. With two doors, it's super easy to get in and out of the Mutha Hubba without affecting the other people inside, and there is enough room for three people to hang out in if a storm rolls through or you didn't have time to collect enough fire wood for the night. After you set it up once, it is a breeze to set up the next thousand times, and it packs down well for being 40 square feet of useable space."

"Solid tent with lots of space and easy set-up. Amazing materials." 04/23/12
We've had our MSR Mutha Hubba for 2 years now, and have pushed the limits of 3 seasons with it. It has never let us down. The set-up is simple and quick. We've had no issues with the zippers or seams wearing. It does require a little practice and some good tie down points to get the fly pitched extremely taught. We are usually 2+gear in it, but you could easily fit a third person comfortably, with gear in the vestibule. Where it excels is in providing good ventilation for sticky summer nights. Great for family camping.

"Solid tent" 07/05/11
This tent is solid & can be easily put up by 1 person. The poles are a little brittle in temps below freezing (hey it was Nov.!) Plenty of room for 2 & gear inside. 2 vestibules are more than sufficient. A loop inside the center of the tent provides a great place to hang a small lantern. My only complaint after 2 years is that I have found this tent to be difficult to quickly get into while also getting both the fly and the tent zipped up. To fully zip up the fly when going into the tent one must zip the fly all the way to ground level while partially inside the tent. Privacy is critical to me as a female Boy Scout leader so the fly must be closed.
"It’s your call." 04/09/11
I own and use both the MSR Mutha Hubba and the Marmot Aeros 3P. They are both great tents, each with its own pros and cons. The Aeros 3P is the roomier of the two and definitely good for three people. Its set up, however, especially attaching the rain fly, is more complex, complicated, and time consuming. The Mutha Hubba is a snap to set up, especially in a storm, is bomb proof in high winds, but more of a deluxe two-person tent.
