"Super lite" 09/21/11

Gotta love the MSR litelifter . . . used a buddies last year a few times and was sold on it. Tiny enough to fit inside my cookset and doesn't get blazin hot like a lot of grippers. You can also make great shadow puppets with it.

"Couldn't do without" 04/20/09

We purchased the frying pan (which didn't have a handle) and the complete cooking system. This was a very welcome addition as to ease of use and handles ability to absorb heat. Would highly recommend.

"Lite and durable." 09/25/08

I switched to this pot holder from the standard MSR. It saves a little bit of weight and a little more space. I was afraid it would get beat up, but so far it seems fine. Does its job. The red grippy stuff doesn't heat up quickly and make it easy to handle, even with slippery gloves. It might burn if left near flame, but so would you hand! I've found it hold a 2 liter pot when its almost full just fine.

"Great for backpacking and camping" 08/07/08

This is ultralight to carry and works great with my Snow Peak titanium kettle.

"Small and Useful....Kind of like a battery" 03/07/08

It's a pot lifter, and it works real well. It's also really small, light, and compact and it has a coating to keep it from burning your hands if your holding the pot the whole time you're cooking. I like it, but there's not much more to say about it.

"Super light and functional!" 07/11/07

This light lifter is true to its name. It is so light it almost doesn't exist. Functions perfectly, but has no clamping mechanism, so don't forget to hold both handles!

"Sweet - you'll never cook without it" 02/07/06

All in all this thing is pretty sweet - it works great with the MSR kettle, and the red handle coating is nice. Not too "thick' but very effective, it prevents you from burning your hands while you lift stuff with it.

It might seem a little silly to spend this much on something that any common fool could do without, but trust me, it is extremely handy, its small, and very light. I've watched a lot of my buddies struggle with there hot cookware, trying not to spill it and such, this little gizmo takes care of that. Build quality is very good, I suggest you get one!
