"Excellent grip" 03/21/12
Excellent pair of snowshoes! Way more effective than tubular designed snowshoes in my opinion. Grip great up and down hill, great stability and control while also light. The straps can be finicky with cold hands but no more than anything else. These are not crampons! Don't listen to people complaining about traversing ice or whatnot. All in all bomber!
"Best snowshoe for climbers on the market!" 03/11/11
Light weight, bindings pack down, televator bar, great crampons. What else do you really need. Got to love the 5 inch floaters you can put on there too. I will have these snowshoes for many years to come
"Never Regretted This Purchase" 01/24/11
I rely on reviews so much for purchasing things online and really struggled with this one. There really aren't a lot of reviews out there for snowshoes, but these really called out to me. I picked these up for snowshoeing around Mt. Hood. I'm 6'0 @ ~195 lbs and debated the 25" and the 30" and finally picked the 25's. I've taken these on maintained trails, powder, packed ice, and up hills and have found these to be very versatile. I picked up the tails but haven't needed them yet. Bindings aren't as easy to get into as other models but hold you much more securely.
"It makes me climb further" 10/30/10
I am backcountry snowboarding with this. The good things are 1) strong. It is stronger than MSR plastic snowshoe I used before. It is better for traversing icy surface. The tooth biting to the ice let you walk easily.2) light. 3) looks great.Bads are 1) the tooth on the aluminum frame scratch your pants if you do not walk carefully or you should not take care of it. 2) The lifter is not ease to move up with snow glove.
