A must haveDo not set up your tent without this footprint. ,,It works great, fits under the HUbba Hubba perfectly.,,It also works great with just the rain fly set up. ,,Or in the middle of the summer....to just steak out and place your sleeping bag on it.

It should fit better!I bought this to go with my new MSR Hubba NX tent because I *always* use a footprint to protect the floor, and in this age of less-waterproof tent floors, to help keep dry.
My setup method (when it's not raining) is a bit different: I lay out the footprint and then set up the poles. I add the inner tent, putting the poles through its grommets below the footprint grommets, then the fly. This means that when I take the tent down, the inner tent remains nicely laid out on the footprint until I'm ready to fold and roll it up.
However, the fabric part of the Hubba NX footprint is perhaps too much smaller than the floor of the tent. I realize it shouldn't project, but if both the footprint and the tent are attached to the poles, there is quite a lot of control and the footprint fabric could be larger. At the same time, the webbing straps are too long; the tension in the footprint is removed when the tent is attached to the poles. Other tents and footprints I own match much better in that the grommets all line up under light tension from the tent pole structure.

What can you say about a footprint.I does what it is designed to do. I won't put up my tent without it.
