The MSR Hubba NX 1-Person Tent is a solo tent for backpacking the great outdoors on your own. The tent is freestanding and can be pitched quickly thanks to the single DAC Featherlite NFL pole. The tent body is a combination of 20D nylon ripstop and 15D mesh to create a barrier between you and all the little bugs on the other side. The rainfly features 1200mm Durashield™ polyurethane and silicone to protect against the rainiest days on the trail, with a floor of 30D ripstop nylon, 3000mm Durashield™ polyurethane and durable water repellent. That was a mouthful and sounded super science-y, but that is probably a good thing and you can trust you'll stay dry through the storms. The single door and single vestibule open wide for speedy entry/exit, just stake everything out with the included MiniGroundhog™ stakes. Lightweight and versatile, you can go from 2 lbs, 14 oz all the way down to 1 lb, 10 oz; just remember folks, footprint not included, it's totally sold separately.

A great solution for shelter.I love this tent. It gives you everything you need for a 3 season tent. The ventilation is great and adjustable. I love the new rain gutter. I have owned a few tents by different companies that are similar but have the zipper in the middle like the Hubba use too. Water always fell right inside my tent. This new design solves hat problem. This tent is really light weight and takes up very little space in my pack. This interior is nice and bright. The vestibule accommodates my 65 liter pack and boots keeping them dry and readily accessible. I am 6ft tall and I have enough room that I don't touch. The inside is the size of a regular cut sleeping pad. I use a mummy cut pad, so I have a little free space to keep a few small things. I would recommend getting the loft. There is one small pocket inside. Not a lot of storage space, but enough. Light, dry functional shelter. Pick one up.

Great TentI brought this tent because I have the bigger 2 man MSR Hubba Hubba and that is a great tent. So I new the quality has to be there. I needed a small and lighter tent for my Mountain Bike. I'm trying to go a little lighter when I hit the mountains.
