"Well designed, light wieght, and perfect for the backcountry!" |
10/06/09 |
| I bought this tent for a 7 day backcountry trip in Glacier. The tent performed flawlessly. This is a very well designed everything is in just the right place. It took me a couple days to figure it all out but now I love it. You can fold the rain fly back to keep 1/2 of the tent covered and 1/2 uncovered which is great for a sun shade or for star gazing. This tent was not noticeable in my pack. Minus the poles and stakes the whole tent will compress down to the size of a grapefruit. Only issue I cam across is that the poles are prone to bending, so I recommend rolling them up in a sleeping mat and carrying them on the outside of your pack, not crammed inside. No regrets here. | |

"this tent is "too cool"" |
08/24/09 |
| Used this tent on a 4-nighter. I can't believe how easy it is to set up and take down. Easy to get in and out of without getting dirt in tent. It was very windy a couple of nights but the tent stayed secure. The titanium stakes are lightweight, and easy to get in and out. The whole tent is lightweight and if you don't use the fly could be made lighter. The fly fits nicely over the tent and allows for good air circulation. I had NO problem with condensation at all. I also have the footprint that worked very well, although needed a little adjustment to stake it and the tent together with the stake roping. The one piece poles almost go together by themselves. I'd give it 6 stars. | |

"light tent fast set up" |
07/17/09 |
| my backcountry love life has improved and that is a direct result of me buying this tent. a little kid could set this thing up easily. it holds me and my girl with gear no problem. light weight tent especially between 2 people. i wish it came with the foot print. the black diamond mesa shelter is almost identicle comes with a foot print included for $319 if your into that kinda thing. i upgraded myself from my boy scouts pup tent to this thing and i barely know what to do with all this extra room. get it! | |

"One of the best 2 person tents on the market." |
06/02/09 |
| This tent is one of the best 2 person tents on the market and the single pole system is amazing. Very lite. Sets up fast. Large vestibule. What more could you want in a tent. Very cheap compared to other tents in the similar design and weight. | |

"Hands down my favorite piece of camping gear" |
04/07/09 |
| It's super light, 2 people can pitch it in a torrential downpour without the tent getting wet on the inside, it pitches in less than a minute if you are quick, and is great for stargazing in the spring, summer, and fall. It's a little pricey for a two man tent, but I guarantee it's worth the extra dough. 2 door and vestibules help store gear and prevent you from waking your tent-mate when you go to dig your poo hole at midnight. | |

"I couldn't be happier with this tent" |
04/01/09 |
| I couldn't be happier with this tent! It's Light weight, packs up pretty good, the stakes are titanium! Breathablity is fantastic (obviously). The vestibules keep you and the floor dry in rainy conditions. On dry nights remove the fly and enjoy the stars! To save weight, take only the fly and footprint, that is if you don't mind some creepy crawly's. | |

"A must on ANY trip" |
01/21/09 |
| So I got this tent about a year bag and have used on several occasions now. It is super light and extremely durable. The double vestibules are a HUGE plus! We used one to keep the gear for 2 people and a dog out of the rain, and the other for the entrance of the tent. Double doors are also a huge bonus. It's quite roomy as well. Slept two people and a dog comfortably all week on the trek. We got caught in what felt like a monsoon for 16 hours and the tent held up perfect. No complaints about this one! | |

"super light, a little tight for two" |
10/13/08 |
| it's a little tight for two, but with two vestibules you can keep all your gear outside. it is superlight and packs down really well. the mesh upper is sick for summer nights under the stars. the one pole design is gnarly and extremely easy to set up with one person. goes up in under 2 minutes, if you're good. | |

"Fantastic" |
10/01/08 |
| This is a great tent. My favorite feature is the head space, somehow there is a ton of room when you sit up. The single pole that goes from end to end is pretty nice as well. I'm not sure if there are any technical advantages, but it makes setting up the tent fun. All the mesh is great for sky viewing and ventilation. The rain fly seems about average, but I haven't taken it backcountry yet. | |

"Great tent for one......or two REALLY good friends" |
09/20/08 |
| First thing first....it has a cool name. It also has other good qualities. This tent is light and makes for a quick setup. So far I have spent two fall weeks in this thing, one in Colorado and one in Wyoming. It's easy to pack and kept me dry. For me, the size is fine, but if you're going to share this tent with a friend, it should probably be with a friend of the opposite sex. The fly is big enough to cover your gear if you don't want it in the tent with you. No complaints here. | |
