"I have stayed in some really nice hotels in my life. I am talking like chocolate-on-your-pillow style hotels! The MSR Hubba Hubba is not that nice, but taken in context it is even better! On the trail it is all about weight to value ratio for me, and the Hubba Hubba more than pays for itself. The ultra light DAC pole system is a one-piece design that sets up quickly and easily to create the frame for this free standing tent. Free standing is a simple concept, but when it is down pouring (it constantly pours buckets on me) it makes it crazy fast to set your shelter and get into cover. Once inside, there are three key features that make the tent for me: 1) A double vestibule - great for stashing boots and random gear on either side of the tent. 2) A double door for exit on either side - I like the people I hike with, but not enough to lay on them as I pass by to head out of the tent (that includes my wife... JK... I supes like my wife) and 3) General size - as a 6 foot guy I find the length and internal height to offer enough room while not adding to much weight for additional room. Polish all this off with the capability to have a bare bones setup for quick shelter, a ton of mesh for some great camping under the stars, and the coolest name ever, and you have a 5 star hotel on the trail! Personal opinion, I don't know how you have survived a backpacking trip without one. :)"

The MSR Hubbu Hubba tent is literally one of the greatest tents ever. What makes it so gosh darn popular? Well, the Hubba Hubba weighs in at a mere 4 pounds (1.8 kg) for starters, and offers more that enough room for two to camp in comfort. The freestanding, easy-pitch hub and pole system sets up in a flash and is strong enough to handle the unpredictability of summer alpine conditions. The Hubba Hubba also offers three setup options, two full-size doors and vestibules, strong aluminum poles and factory-taped seams, which help round out the features that make it STILL one of the best selling Fast and Light tents in the world.

"Great Christmas Gift" 03/02/12
I got this tent as a Christmas present and all my friends made fun of me. But this was the best present I have ever gotten. I use it all the time! Great for weekend getaways but also long week or more treks. Plenty of room for you and another person with two vestibules for your gear. I live in Texas and the mesh walls have already come in handy to catch a breeze without the bugs biting you. Best tent (and Christmas gift) ever!
"Great product" 02/29/12
This is a light tent that does what it advertises. It is easy to put up compared, to the other tents I have had in the past. I do like that it comes with short light weight spikes to hold it in place during the rain/wind storms that always seem to come up when I backpack. It also keeps you dry with the rain fly on. It has good ventilation, but still will moisture up if real cold outside. I don't think there is a tent that really doesn't do this. Over all a good lightweight product that I would and have recommended to my friends. There is room for 2, but it is tight. I am 6'2.
"Best tent out there!" 01/15/12
This thing is awesome in every aspect. I have used a lot of different tents, and this one takes the cake. It is light, super strong, easy to set up, vents very well, great weather protection and makes me look like I have a clue as to what I'm doing!
"I go camping nearly every weekend...this tent is killer!" 01/05/12
I was very specific about what i wanted in a tent. I wanted it light first and foremost because I am a wimp, and don't want to waste all the weight in my pack on a tent so that i can carry more beer. Next I wanted it really easy to set up, because I work a 9-5 crappy office job so I always have to leave town late on a friday to go camping and arrive at night. Lastly, I wanted there to be two doors so that I would never have to climb over anyone when i have to pee in the middle of the night. I also love that it is full mesh, so when the weather is nice you can just look at the stars before you pass out for the night.
"Perfect!" 12/31/11
I was looking for a tent that would pack down well and carry light. Welp, I found it! This tent is plenty big for me and my wife especially the headroom. At under 5 pounds this is the perfect tent for backpacking. Took this tent out into the windy southern Utah desert and was pleasantly surprised at how much sand DIDN'T find its way in. Compared to my buddy's alps mountaineering tent, which had buckets of sand I pulled out about a half cup. I especially like that I can use the rainfly separate from the mesh insides.
"PERFECT Tent for two!" 12/11/11
LOVE this tent. It's the best tent we've ever had. Our last tent was a Kelty two person, and was okay, but the MSR Hubba Hubba is STELLAR! It's so light, easy to carry, and so easy to set up! We used it in Michigan parks in late October and it was just fine through the hiking and the windy, cold conditions! The inside pockets are fantastic, and the color of the tent is great too. I can't say enough about it, but make sure to grab the matching footprint as well. The price is great for this wonderful product.
"Solid 2 person tent" 10/18/11
Finally got the Hubba Hubba after using a buddies all last year and the first half of this year. We've used this tent in weather down into the teens and were warm. The entire tent is mesh, so if it’s hot, just leave the fly off and you'll be nice and cool. More than enough room for two people and a 55 pound dog. Well, perhaps not "more than enough" but Zach (the dag . . . dag? . . . what? . . . yeah dag . . . ohhhhh dog) has come with us on every trip we've taken and the three of us are comfy. Setup is super easy with the 1 pole system too . . . one person and 5 minutes and the tent is up. This a great light weight 2 person tent. Three of the guys I backpack with all have one.
"Just like Kanye West, at the top of game." 10/05/11
Best tent I've ever owned. Super easy to set up alone. Tiny package, even with optional footprint. Uber waterproof, no pooling. I mostly use this solo, but it works well as a two person tent when sleeping headsy-toesy. Just figure on keeping the gear in the two large vestibules. Also, the fact that it's symmetrical means you don't have to crawl over/around your roommate to access the door. More options than a German luxury sedan. You can set this thing up with or without the fly, fly only, or fly and foot print only. Only thing I don't like is they discontinued the yellow/pea-green color.
"Sweet tent!" 08/01/11
Got this tent in anticipation of a year-long trek through Europe. Took it on a break-in trip to New England (VT & ME) and it handled everything the northeast could throw at it. Three of the nights it absolutely poured on us and she held up beautifully. Everything inside was nice and dry. It pitches in no-time, with minimal effort and weighs next to nothing. Condensation wasn't a problem, even with temps ranging from 80 to 50. I got this tent on sale, but if I had to do it over again, I'd get it regardless if it was on sale or regular price.
"If you want a light dependable 2-person tent then buy this" 07/19/11
Broke this tent in on a two week treck in NY's adirondack mtns. Extremely easy to set up and the larger bag allows you to stuff instead of rolling the tent. The tent is very water-proof and yet breathable, especially with the dual vestibule on warm nights. I have nothing bad to say about this tent. It rocks.
