"If you plan on doing much snow shoeing these are a must have"  12/03/11

I am a disabled veteran I earn extra money in the winter by trapping I snow shoe in alot of the time these tails give me that extra flowtation that I need to keep my fat ass out of the cold snow if you plan on buying a pair of the MSR snow shoes you better pick up a pair of these I would not leave home with out my tails!!!!!!!

Unless you are very light and only use snowshoes for out in the yard, you really need to buy these. I suppose it keeps the price down for those that don't need them, which is why they are separate. They are the only size for the EVO series (older style had 4" and 8").They are simple to fit. Flexible, with a bit of slack in the shoe, so slotting them into the EVO series can be done with mitts on. In addition the tightening tri-cornered nut is big, so that too can be done without removing big gloves. The sit pretty solid, not moving about or sliding back or forth.

If you purchase MSR snowshoes be sure to get these. They will increase you ability to traverse any snow covered terrin with ease. In addition, they work especially well with a heavy pack. Dont pass these up.
