im a massive FANI used this in TASmania Australia &It deserves a TICK and then some!I took this on a 18 trek throughout tasmania australia where some of the weather conditions are perfect and the next day your in snow... BUT this little beauty was a sure asset to my trip and it was worth every pretty penny i spent on it. the ventilation system up the top seems a bit flimsy at first but after 18 days i didn't have a doubt about it. definitely buy a footprint with it if you can. the whole idea of single skin is amazing as lowers weight and three poles allows it to hold a fair bit of weight on her. ten thumbs up!

"Featherlite, strong, bigger than it looks" 04/18/10

Once packed, this tent occupies roughly 1/5 of my 60L pack. It and my sleeping bag fit cozily beside each other, and they both weigh about the same. This is seriously well made, seriously compact-when-packed, and seriously light. I purchased the MSR Dragontail tent skirt for it--which I think is a must buy given this orange dude's spendy-spendy pricetag. I should say, though, that the Dragontail tent doesn't matchup with its eponymous tent skirt as well as they say it does. Plan ahead: Bring 2 extra stakes.

Great tent. Dead easy to set-up even high up in the Alps. Get protected from the elements in no time. Very light yet very sturdy. Go extreme with this extreme gear! Never be disappointed - buy MSR
