Had mine for a week now and they are amazing. Superb all-terrain traction. The bindings are secure and take a couple uses to get used to. The televator heel is a pretty cool feature, but unless you plan to use the televator heel for a sustained amount of time, avoid activating it, its a bit difficult to release.

These snowshoes are FANTASTIC!!! versitile in both powder buy floaters and ice. Accended all 42 Mountains in the ADK with them, not one malfunction. These were also the most used, in my observations!!!

Best snowshoes ever!!!! Using the optional extensions you can go anywhere in these bad boys! Plus when you take them off you can use then as a shovel to build a snow hut.

"Awesome, my best buddy is buying a pair now." 		          01/28/07
So, here is my most in-depth review. I struggled with my decision of which snowshoe to purchase. Some say go with plastic, some do not. I couldn't really demo them at all before purchase because of the weather here, but I went with these and made the right decision. They are pretty light, super durable and can be modded for super deep or super powdery snow with the tails. If you are pondering these, I don't think you will be dissappointed at all. The straps are easy to use and you can do it with gloves on.They bite well into icy and steep conditions. They are great.

These are a great pair of shoes!! I climb the 46 high peaks in the adirondacks in the winter and these shoes are great for steep terrain. They are also good on everytype of snow exept soft. But you can buy the tails and you never have to have multiple pairs of shoes
