"can be a HUGE pain" 04/19/13

In sunny, warm, consistent weather this cap works fine. On freezing cold mornings, however, it can be nearly impossible to get loose. The few I had also had a tendency to thread wrong and leak (all over my pack). I can't see any reason to buy one of these over a regular MSR cap (which I love).

"It works well, but sometimes is a pain" 02/23/13

I love my wisperlight stove. It is great. I have several fuel bottles of varying sizes and I have this cap on one of them. It does the job well, but sometimes it is funky. It sometimes is more difficult to open than I would like, and it works just as well as the basic one. Bottom line is it works well, but if basics are your thing, skip it. If you need the childproofing this is the way to go.
